My GPC Library—Not Just for Individuals

My GPC Library—Not Just for Individuals
MY GPC LIBRARY

Since the Spring, we have been describing the features of our new eBook subscription program, MY GPC LIBRARY. We have placed our nearly 800 eBook titles—a $40,000 value in print–on this exciting new platform. For the first time, subscribers can look for names or places across all our eBooks–not just book-by-book—in a single search. The new platform allows you to set bookmarks, make notes, and add citations as you work. Because you will have access to the entirety of every book, you can search for relatives or find neighbors of your ancestors to add context to your family history. And if you travel for your research, you can work remotely or online and things still stay in sync. Learn More

What we have not told our readers about—before today—is that MY GPC LIBRARY is available to institutions as well. If you are a public or academic librarian, or if you use a library to do you research, please consider this: We can put together an institutional version of our eBook collection that precisely meets your needs. It all depends on the kind of access you’re looking for. Will you and your staff use the platform to assist patrons? Will patrons only come to the library to do their research? Would they prefer remote access to MY GPC LIBRARY.  Do you want to offer them both options?

Our institutional pricing is based on the estimated number of patrons who are doing genealogical research along with how you choose to make the platform available. To get down to specifics for your institution, of course, we’d be delighted to schedule a demonstration for you about our digital collection.  Please email website@genealogical.com. Include a few dates that work for you or your library representative. On the call, our owner Barry Chodak can show you how the platform works as well as answer your questions. Please allow an hour since there will likely be a lot to cover.
