This work lists the 15,000 persons whose names were drawn in the Georgia lottery which parceled out the land ceded by the Creek Indian nation in 1825. (The present-day counties of Carroll, Coweta, Lee, Muscogee, and Troup.) Each entry gives the recipient’s name and precise location of his/her parcel.
