This collection of Revolutionary War records contains rosters, with service records, of about 15,000 soldiers and officers from the New England states, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina, arranged by regiment, company, and corps. Saffell, who was counselor and agent for Revolutionary War pension claims also includes lists of distinguished prisoners, Half-Pay Acts of the Continental Congress, Revolutionary pension laws, and a list of the officers of the Continental Army who acquired the right to half-pay, commutation, and lands.
