This work lays out the 323 proven lines of descent from the eighty-seven men who served as Governor of one of the colonies of British North America. Each lineage furnishes a brief sketch on the member, the name of the Colonial Governor ancestor, the details of the line of descent, and, in a number of instances, supplemental lineages approved by the Genealogist General of the Order.
