Polish Genealogy at a Glance | Available in New 2020 Updated Edition

Polish Genealogy

In the newly updated edition of Genealogy at a Glance: Polish Genealogy Research, expert genealogist Rosemary Chorzempa, lays out the basic elements of Polish genealogical research in four specially laminated pages. Starting with a discussion of names, the guide–which has been revised to include updated URLs, the latest statistics, and most important online databases and resources–focuses on the basic elements of Polish research. These include history and emigration, locating the hometown, maps and gazetteers, geographical areas, and online databases. Like other publications in the Genealogy at a Glance series, this guide also lists the best reference books and most helpful  genealogical societies. It even guides you to (1) an animated video on the history of Poland and (2)  provides a chart giving the English, Latin, Polish, and German names of important places in Polish lands.

Polish Genealogy Research is the latest title in our Genealogy at a Glance series to be updated in recent months.  If you own a copy of the original edition of the Polish guide, or one of the following updated editions, it’s probably worth your while to buy an update full of important new resources:
