This is a supplement to South Carolina Marriages 1688-1799 and South Carolina Marriages 1800-1820 (see Items 2774 and 2775). It is based on a variety of sources from around the state, some of which were overlooked in preparing the previous two volumes and others which have come to light since then. In all, over 1,000 new entries are included, with brides and other persons mentioned in the records listed separately in the index.
